Announcing the Winners of the Wild Homebrew Jam!

The votes have been tabulated, and the community has spoken. We have our winners!

Before we get to that, though, I want to thank the community as a whole. You treated the task of reading and voting on the homebrew submissions as a job with great responsibility, and we were all glad to see that it wasn’t simply a contest of “whichever entry is shiniest”.

I also want to thank the community members who submitted homebrew for the Wild Homebrew Jam. Speaking personally, it was a pleasure to read through them all – to see what this game has inspired you to make, and how excited you all were to participate.

There were 17 entries in total – when I was worried we might not get enough to give out all of the prizes!

To see who won, and to get links to all of the homebrew entries, check out below!

The Winners

For third place… we have a tie! Viyers’ Adventure: Horon Disaster and Dethnite007’s Growing Vines Dungeon earned an equal number of votes. Fitting, as they’re both pre-made adventures suitable for your table.

For second place… Sir Aston the Goron Bard’s Reclaim Hyrule put up a strong showing! These rules for large-scale army vs. army combat can add an epic scale to your campaign.

For the Developer’s Choice award… we have Maddie’s Revel the Hunt! This is a nigh-on total conversion of the game into a Metroid tabletop RPG.

And finally, in first place… Vader’s New Race: Guardian Scout! Hot on the heels of Age of Calamity, this race allows you to play a heroic Guardian, whether adorably egg-shaped or looking like the came straight from the movie Metropolis.

In the coming weeks, we’ll highlight the above winners further, giving them full article writeups on the site. We’re also in the process of sending them their gift card rewards – hopefully, we can get that all sorted out before Christmas!
