The Winners
In Second Place, there is… Pirakun’s Reclaim the Wild – Rules Cheatsheet! This PDF provides an easy reference for many of this system’s most important rules. (You will need to join our Discord to download it.)
But wait…
Also in Second place is… Ramos’s Echoes of the Wild! This entry lays the groundwork for running a game similar to Echoes of the Wild.
The Developer’s Choice is… Regame’s Catching the Wild! If you like minigames, this entry provides rules for running fishing, hunting, and critter catching competitions.
For the Paralog theme, we have a tie. This means we have to provide prizes for a pair-of-logs!
The first of the Paralog pair… CasualSilver’s Koopa Race! Based off a different definition of paralogue than intended, this entry provides rules for the Koopa race, with its numerous, distinct subraces.
The second of the Paralog pair… Xaetamin’s Collectibles of the Wild! Xaetamin provides a write-up for three of the most (in)famous collectible side quests in the Zelda franchise, alongside Magical Rings that provide passive benefits.
For Best Adventure… PixelGameWizard’s Pirate’s Legacy! This small adventure leads the players to discover the legacy (and treasure) that an infamous pirate left behind.
Finally, in First Place is… BucketGod’s Defend the Tower! For those who ever wanted to run a tower defense game in a tabletop, this entry provides a detail system.
Wow, we had a lot of ties! We’re gonna dig into the bottom of our Adult Wallets (sadly, not Giant’s Wallets…) and give them all a prize.
As in prior years, we’re going to try and highlight all of these entries with their own individual articles in the coming year. We’ll also be contacting them directly, to coordinate their gift card rewards – so keep an eye out for that soon, winners!
Thank you once again for the homebrew jammers for providing such wonderful entries, and for everyone who’s taken the time to read and vote on all these entries.
