Sailcloths are large pieces of durable, non-absorbent fabric meant primarily to catch the air flowing into it. With a sturdy connection to a creature or object, and unfurled Sail will reduce negate 1 out of every 5 points of damage it takes from falling per Rank and treat entering a space with an Updraft as though they were gliding (Resetting the “fall distance” in terms of damage). If you are using the “Rebuilding the Wild” Amenities supplement, a Sail attached to a Wagon will provide (Rank x 2 + 1 + Rank of any current Sandstorms or Rain) Athletics for the purpose of propelling a wagon, so long as it isn’t moving against the prevailing winds
