Pictobox (Gems): Using mirrored lenses to focus light, this device can used as a minor action to capture an image of whatever it’s pointed at as though the user had cast the Camera spell. These images may be stored on sensitive metal plates, chemically-treated film, or as digital files, and either greyscale or colored depending on the GM’s discretion, but by default a newly-crafted or commercially sold Pictobox should have a storage capacity of (Rank) photographs. Anybody holding the device may view the stored images, but any check related to their use (For example, Perception checks to notice detail or Smithing checks to make a reproduction of an object) only up to the first (Pictobox Rank x 2) points of a Skill can be applied
