A Parasol provides some cover to a small area from the worst ravages of the weather, as well as looking quite stylish. So long as the Rank of the Parasol equals or exceeds the Rank of a Heatwave, Rain, or Sandstorm weather, anything in the same square treats the weather as though it were one rank lower. In a pinch, they can also provide a falling party with some control over their direction, allowing them to glide (Rank) squares horizontally for every turn they fall.
